A man in his 20s was
killed yesterday when a car and tractor collided in
Newtowncunningham.
Gardai are investigating the fatal crash at Moyle,
Newtown, on the main Letterkenny to Derry Road at
2.15pm. The man who died was the driver of the car.
His female passenger, also in her 20s, was seriously
injured and was removed to Letterkenny General
Hospital. It was the second road fatality in the
county in 36 hours.
Nineteen year old Michael Flanagan of Cashelnavean,
Ballybofey, died in the early hours of Saturday. He
was the driver of a car that crashed into a vacant
house at Capri, Ballybofey.
Gardai in Ballybofey are appealing for witnesses and
have asked anyone who may have information to
