Dominic Brunt who plays Paddy, the vet in Emmerdale, collects his Oscar for 'Best Actor in a Soap'. Buncrana hairdresser Sonia McLaughlin receives her Oscar for 'Best Dressed Female'. Paul Doherty (Roe) has a good laugh with his 'Lifetime Achievement' Oscar and of course for being a...'Gas Man'. Patricia Ferguson is delighted with her 'Leading Female' Oscar. Tom McDonagh, Pillar Park, Buncrana, who enjoyed a walk-on part on Emmerdale last year is rewarded with an Oscar for 'Best Supporting Actor in a Soap'. Make A Wish Foundation North West co-ordinator and Oscars Ball organiser, Francis Callaghan addresses the crowd at the new function suite at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel.
