A YOUNG driver from
Muff has promised not to speed on the roads again
after appearing this week at Buncrana District
Court.
Colm Deery, Ballyboe, Muff, pleaded guilty to
driving at 121kph in an 80kph zone on the date in
question at 11.15pm.
He had no previous convictions and represented
himself in court on Tuesday.
Judge Desmond Zaidan asked him if he would like to
say anything in his defence. Deery replied: "It
won't happen again your honour." The judge imposed a
fine of €400 and gave the defendant 30 days to pay. |
