FOLLOWING the success of
its recent festive event, Shopping Spraoi is heading
back to the Carndonagh Garden Centre for another
sustainable fashion pop-up on Saturday 28th February
from 12pm to 3pm.
The event will once again transform the popular venue
into a vibrant hub for affordable preloved style,
clothing swaps, and practical sustainability tips.
Designed to make conscious shopping accessible and
enjoyable, the afternoon promises a welcoming space for
families, young people and anyone curious about giving
fashion a second life. |

Caoimhe Doherty, Project
Co-ordinator, says the February event builds on growing
community interest in sustainable living: "The response
to our last pop-up showed there's a real appetite
locally for alternatives to fast fashion. Shopping
Spraoi makes it easy for people to try something
different, whether that's swapping an outfit, picking up
a bargain or learning how to repair what they already
own."
Visitors can browse a curated selection of quality
preloved clothing, take part in swap opportunities, and
see demonstrations on simple repair and upcycling
techniques. The focus is on practical, low-cost ways to
refresh wardrobes while reducing waste.
"Everyone is welcome to attend the February pop-up,"
says Caoimhe "whether you're a seasoned swapper or
simply interested in exploring more sustainable shopping
choices."
